THE SPANISH PUMPKINS

"Bullet With Butterfly Wings" es una canción de la banda de rock alternativo "The Smashing Pumpkins". Fue el primer sencillo del álbum doble de la banda de 1995 "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness", regogido en el Cd "Dawn to Dusk". La canción ganó el Premio Grammy de 1997 a la Mejor interpretación de Hard Rock. A veces la canción es llamada como "Rat in a Gage", y el que el título original no aparecer en ningún estribillo de la canción.
El video musical de la canción, dirigida por Samuel Bayer, es un vídeo con un duro y crudo aspecto visual. El video se inspiró de documentales sobre las minas de las que se extraen diamantes. Además, se de a conocer un gran icono glam-rock del grupo, la camiseta de Billy Corgan, negra y con palabra "Zero" en plata sobre una estrella, y pantalones de plata. El video también marca la última aparición filmada de Billy Corgan antes de tomar su decisión a afeitarse la cabeza.
