"A Very Special Christmas 3" es la tercera de una serie de Navidad de compilación de álbumes, producidos a beneficio de "Special Olympics". El álbum fue lanzado el 23 de septiembre de 1997, y la producción fue supervisada por Bobby Shriver, Al Cafaro y Linda Feder para "A & D Records".
En este recopilatorio participaron "The Smashing Pumpkins" con la canción "Christmastime" situada en la segunda pista.
