La revista especializada Rolling Stone, a través de sus lectores, realizó un ranking de los Top 10 Álbums of the Nineties. The Smashing Pumpkins aparecen con los álbumes Siamese Dream y Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness. A pesar de no llegar al número 1, la banda de Chicago superó a otros artistas que sólo tuvieron un solo disco en la lista.
